Rory Walsh

Rory grew up south of London in a house full of books and toy cars. After graduating with an English Literature MA and ten years working in publishing, he began writing about business parks and non-league football. In 2011 Rory joined the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) on the Discovering Britain project. He has enjoyed walking in forty-one counties, talking on local radio about caves, and dancing upon a giant map. Rory lives south of London in a different house full of books and toy cars, from where he writes the monthly Discovering Britain article for Geographical.
