The opportunity to study climate change – one of the defining issues of our times – is what attracts many young people to the field of geography and to geography degrees. It used to be that to focus specifically on climate change it was necessary to take a broader undergraduate degree and then pursue the subject at Masters level. This is still a good option and there are several highly regarded Masters programmes available. However, for those looking to focus on climate change at undergraduate level, some UK universities are now offering specific degrees in the subject.
