UK-based charity Picture People, have just run their second annual mobile photo competition to celebrate Human Rights Day.

The competition was made of three themes: ‘Embrace our Differences’, ‘Environment Champions’, and ‘Living with Dignity.

Nick Danziger, co-executive director of Picture People, said: ‘We had images from Namibia, Congo and Indonesia, but also from people working on Children in Armed Conflict at the UN in New York, several Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar Bangladesh and a film director in Paris.’

The winning image from the ‘Living with Dignity’ category by Shared Patil in India is fabulous: intimate, joyful celebration of life.

Below are the winning images from all three categories. Click here to see last year’s winners.
