The video, posted on TruthSocial and Instagram, currently has 240,000 likes on Instagram, more than 26,000 comments and almost half a million shares.
The video begins with a clip of war-torn Gaza, with the words ‘Gaza 2025’ and ‘What’s next?’ appearing shortly after. What follows is a quick succession of skyscrapers, children running on beaches lined with palm trees and high-rise buildings, along with clips of bustling streets with busy shop frontages.
As the video progresses, clips can be seen of a man bearing a strong resemblance to Elon Musk eating bread, along with what can be assumed as Tesla cars driving through the street. The Musk-lookalike appears several times in the video, including at one point as the sky showers down dollar bills on him.
Gold buildings with huge ‘Trump Gaza’ signs feature in the video, alongside a clip of golden Trump statues being sold in a shop and Trump dancing with a woman. At one point, a child walks down a street clutching a gold balloon bearing Trump’s face, and the video ends with Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at a hotel poolside sipping on drinks.

Throughout the duration of the video, an upbeat song is played, with the lyrics: ‘Donald Trump will set you free, bringing the life for all to see, no more tunnels, no more fear, Trump Gaza is finally here.’
‘Trump Gaza’s shining bright, golden future, a brand new life. Feast and dance the deal is done, Trump Gaza number one,’ the song continues.
Quickly, social media users expressed their opinions on Trump’s latest video. ‘This video is truly horrifying,’ one user said. Others call the video ‘unprofessional’, ‘disrespectful’ and ‘insensitive and unnecessary’.
In a White House press conference on February 4, President Trump said he would transform Gaza from a ‘hell hole’ into the ‘Riviera of the Middle East’, declaring that the US would ‘take over the Gaza Strip’. Since then, many have expressed concerns that the proposal amounts to a form of ethnic cleansing. This has not stopped several of Trump’s most loyal followers endorsing the plans to ‘Make Gaza Beautiful Again’.
‘Everybody I’ve spoken to loves the idea of the United States owning that piece of land, developing and creating thousands of jobs,’ Trump said during the conference.
