The Wilder Blean project to introduce free-roaming bison to re-wild a Kent woodland
The Wilder Blean Project is a ground-breaking wilding initiative at West Blean and Thornden Woods, Canterbury and a partnership between the charities Kent Wildlife Trust and Wildwood Trust. Free-roaming bison are shaping the landscape around them through their natural behaviours making it more resilient to climate change while also boosting biodiversity.
