Community worker Shoba Resalayyan talks about work with Plan for Peace, helping new UK citizens
Plan for Peace works closely with community changemakers across the UK to build locally-led community infrastructures through its Changemakers in Turbulent Times programme.
This film is the story of changemaker and community hero Shoba Resalayyan . When Shoba moved to the UK, she experienced first-hand some of the difficulties of finding work, learning the language, and feeling at home in her community. Now, with support from a Plan for Peace seed grant, Shoba dedicates her time to making sure new UK citizens are fully supported as they settle in Slough.
