But don’t forget, Gift Membership lasts the whole year round: what a treat for any geography enthusiast. Here’s a taste of what’s on offer:
Ordinary Membership
For most, this is the perfect gift option. Ordinary Membership includes attendance at our renowned Monday night lectures, and access to watch recordings of them online. You can also attend a huge range of talks, exhibitions and events across the UK, and read about the latest geographical news in our popular magazine, Geographical.
What’s more, membership gives access to our Members’ Room, an incredibly handy meeting place in central London, where you can work, study or read in peace. While you’re here, you can get expert advice on informed travel via our collection of travel resources, workshops and professional courses.
Young Geographer
For those aged 14 to 24, Young Geographer membership is an excellent gift. Choose from one, two or three-year subscriptions, each fostering a young person’s passion for geography. All Young Geographer memberships include digital access to our monthly Geographical magazine, and to the Society’s entire collection of educational resources – an amazing revision tool for GCSE and A Level.
Membership of the Society as a Young Geographer gives a great impression on university and job applications and helps to build extra-curricular interests through access to our Monday night lectures, academic journals and events across the UK.
