Discover the World - Creating Outstanding Holidays for over 30 Years

Discover the World

GeoTravelPartnerAs one of the UK’s leading tour operators, we’ve been creating tailor-made holidays for over three decades. With a strong heritage in the Nordic region we have considerable experience in arranging holidays to see the northern lights and have discovered the best places to view this incredible phenomenon. Whether you want to explore volcanic landscapes in Iceland, husky sledge across the frozen wilderness in Sweden, cosy-up in a log cabin in Finland, or simply relax in a hot tub gazing at the aurora, we offer an unrivalled collection of winter breaks.

WINTER IN THE LAND OF FIRE & ICE

With its sheer magnitude of natural wonders and great opportunities to see the aurora, Iceland is the perfect winter break destination. We offer a variety of short breaks, escorted tours and self-drive trips across the country.

Chill Out at the Icehotel

We operate an exclusive direct flight from Heathrow to the magnificent Icehotel in Swedish Lapland. Rebuilt every year using ice from the Torne River, the Icehotel is a unique work of art. Experience ‘sleeping on ice’, try out a number of winter activities including husky sledding, and of course watch out for a display of the northern lights after a drink in the Ice Bar!

Aurora & Wildlife Experiences

Combine two fantastic experiences – aurora hunting and whale watching on one of our two exclusive small-group holidays in Iceland or Norway. Orcas and Aurora in Iceland is based in the small fishing village of Grundarfjordur. Set against a backdrop of one of the country’s most distinctive mountains, enjoy close encounters with killer whales by day and northern lights viewing at night.

In Norway, our exclusive Whales and Northern Lights break in the remote Vesteralen Islands provides the chance to see a large numbers of orcas, as well as humpback, fin whales, long-finned pilot and sperm whales. You will be accompanied by whale expert and broadcaster Mark Carwardine and award-winning guides Cathy Harlow and Alexa Kershaw.

Winter Adventures in Lapland

The northern areas of Sweden, Finland and Norway offer a variety of exciting places to stay, including the Treehotel, a grown-ups’ Treehouse, a Safari Camp, and cosy, log cabin style hotels – all situated in a snowy wonderland where you can take part in thrilling winter excursions and enjoy excellent views of the aurora.
