GeoEducationPartnerIf you are fascinated by the relationship between people and places, taking Geography at Bath Spa will equip you to understand key global challenges, from climate change to sustainable development, and enable you to contribute to debates about our physical environment and the ways we interact with it.

RGS IBG accredited programmeWe take an integrated approach to Geography. An ability to link environmental processes and social and spatial behaviours is a defining feature of geographical practice. You will gain an understanding of both the human and physical aspects of the subject. You can also choose to specialise more in either area as your interests, abilities and career plans evolve.

We offer four courses (click each to find out more):

• BSc Geography
• BSc Geography (Physical)
• BSc Geography (Human)
• BSc Global Development and Sustainability

Geography can also be taken in combination with a range of other subjects as part of the Bath Spa module scheme. This flexibility allows you to choose the course most suited to you. All of our courses have been accredited by the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG). All routes are also offered with a Professional Placement Year which you take between your second and third year of study.

The site is a superb natural laboratory where you will learn a range of scientific and social science techniques.
